Cars and racing are always related, is as simple as you just look a car dashboard, the speed that shows you could get is wayyy beyond the speed limits, like the ones of the highway, yeah sure they are limited, but you still can go over the speed limit, so a lot of people develops a passion for going faster and faster, but others they get scared of this, very justified, because you can easily die if you crash at high speeds, and for that people create racetracks and a new sport born, the motorsport, that doesn´t just involve cars, involves whatever thing that haves a motor, but in my case I prefer cars.
So out there are a lot of categories for car racing, but the one that I loved and is my favorite is the karting one, because is truly real pure racing, since it doesn´t have any way of electronic assist, and it doesn´t even have suspension, is just a pair of metal tubes, the motor and you. You really can feel the car and the ground under you, and even if is it true that you don´t get more than 160km/h at top speed because the tracks don´t have long straights, at least here in Chile, but you are sooo close to the ground that it feels faster than if you go 260km/h in a normal car, and the cornering speed in this cars is so good that you develop a lot more G force than in a normal car, that you will feel so exhausted with just a few laps and it´s very likely that you will have a lot of bruises in your ribs and legs at the end of the day and of course your hands will be stuck to the steering wheel and you will need help for somebody else to put your fingers straight.
All that I´m saying is from the experiences that I have acquired since 2014 which was the year that I started racing as a professional racing driver and has become one of the things that I can´t keep out of my mind especially now with these quarantine times, that have kept me out of the tracks.
Is fascinating how passionated you are talking about this, I enjoy too racing but in a more amateur way, just in the go karts but I think that is a similar feeling
